Hello
I’m Anita
I'm a creative soul passionate about capturing life's most beautiful moments.
Hi, I’m Anita! I’m a photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I’m all about capturing real moments, real connections, and all the vibrant energy that makes life unforgettable. I’m a total hype girl behind the camera — cheering you on, fixing your hair, making sure you feel confident and seen. Whether we’re shooting in the mountains, running through a studio session, or catching those in-between candid laughs, I’m here to make your session feel fun, relaxed, and authentically you. I believe photos aren’t just pictures — they’re memories you can feel. When I’m not photographing, you’ll probably find me doing yoga, adventuring outdoors, reading, or chasing sunsets. I’m so excited to meet you and tell your story in a way that’s bold, colorful, and full of heart!
MY STORY
I wasn’t always a photographer — but I’ve always been an artist.
Art has been the thread running through every chapter of my life.
Growing up, I lived in stories — books were my first escape into imagination, where anything was possible and the world felt wide open. Dance came next: a way to express emotions without saying a word. I spent my younger years moving through life with rhythm and passion, eventually even teaching dance at a middle school a few years back. Looking back, it's clear that creating and connecting were always at the core of who I am.
After high school, I pursued cosmetology and barbering, earning my license and jumping into the world of hair design. Helping people feel confident and beautiful through the art of transformation felt natural — another extension of creativity that had always lived inside me.
But my love for learning pushed me even further. I earned my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and spent time working as a personal trainer, finding artistry in movement, strength, and growth.
My creative world kept expanding. I taught myself graphic design, diving into brand building — crafting logos, visuals, and voices that told bigger stories. Branding allowed me to blend strategy and artistry in a way that felt exciting and limitless.
I also fell in love with the tradition of henna design. Teaching myself the art of henna connected me back to family, heritage, and storytelling in a way that still feels sacred.
In 2018, I made the decision that truly changed everything:
I picked up a camera — and everything finally clicked.
Photography felt like home in a way nothing else ever had.
It pulled together every part of me — the artist, the storyteller, the dreamer, the hype girl.
I knew right away this was my calling.
Today, I get to capture people exactly as they are — raw, real, unfiltered — and celebrate the beauty that already lives inside them.
I get to tell stories that matter.
I get to help people feel seen, strong, and vibrant.
Art is who I am.
Photography is how I share it with the world.
